Unseen Photos of Princess Leonor of Spain ahead of her 18th birthday

Princess Leonor of Spain, elder daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, is celebrating her 18th birthday on Tuesday, next week. Leonor is the heiress presumptive of Spanish throne and holds the Title of Princess of Asturias, Princess of Girona Princess of Viana, Duchess Montblanc, Countess of Cervera and Lady of Balaguer. Born on October 31st in 2005, Princess Leonor is currently a military academy student at the Zaragoza Military Academy.

The Spanish Royal Court has released few unseen pictures ahead of Leonor’s milestone birthday. In one of the pictures we saw the Future Queen when she was merely 2 years old. The picture was taken when Leonor was at home waiting for her mother, the then Princess Letizia, and her new born sister Dona Sofia. Another picture shows the little Princess from her first day of nursery school and in another one she is watching her father signing the book of honour at the Air Force Academy where she herself will be heading in two years for training.

Princess Leonor spent two years in Wales studying International Baccalaureate at the UWC Atlantic College and graduated in May this year. The Spanish Royal Mint released a special commemorative coin marking her birthday next week. The coin will be available on her birthday for purchase.

On Tuesday at 11 AM, The Princess of Asturias will be heading to the House of Congress to take the traditional Oath of Constitution. Leonor will sear in front of the house to uphold, respect and follow the Spanish Constitution. King Felipe VI will be presenting her elder daughter with the highest order of the Kingdom, The Order of Charles III to mark the big day. In the evening, The Royal family will be hosting a private family dinner which will be attended by the members of the Royal Family and Government.
